Section 1

Acceptance of Terms & Scope

By creating an account, accessing, issuing, or verifying documents via the DocuVerified platform (including our web application, APIs, and verification portals located at www.docuverified.com), you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.

If you are registering on behalf of a company, corporate enterprise, government agency, or educational institution, you represent and warrant that you possess the full legal authority to bind that entity to these Terms. If you do not have such legal authority, or if you do not agree with these Terms, you must not use the platform.

Section 2

Organizational Authority & Eligible Issuers

DocuVerified is designed exclusively for legitimate commercial enterprises, legal partnerships, recruitment agencies, financial institutions, and accredited organizations.

  • Authorized Signatory Representation: Any individual who initiates the generation of an official document (such as a Salary Certificate, NOC, or Employment Offer) warrants that they have direct authorization from the company’s HR, Legal, or Executive management.
  • Account Integrity: You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and API access tokens. Any document issued under your corporate credentials is presumed to have been authorized by your organization.
Section 3

Cryptographic Document Issuance Services

DocuVerified provides a suite of tools for creating, customizing, stamping, issuing, and maintaining official corporate documents:

  • Template Engine: Pre-built standard templates across 10 business categories, dynamically populated with organizational variables.
  • Cryptographic Binding: Every completed document is mathematically fingerprinted using SHA-256 and assigned an opaque verification token.
  • Procedural Security Seals: Corporate stamps, authorized signatory badges, and high-density 2D QR codes embedded seamlessly into output PDFs.
  • Live Lifecycle Management: Issuers may toggle status from Active to Revoked or Expired in real time, immediately reflecting on the public verification portal.
Section 4

Public Verification Portal & Third-Party Verifiers

DocuVerified makes document verification 100% free and open to third parties (including commercial banks, mortgage underwriters, embassy visa officers, landlords, and educational evaluators).

Zero-Login Policy: Third-party verifiers do not need an account, paid subscription, or specialized software to verify documents. Verification is performed by scanning the QR code or submitting the token ID on www.docuverified.com/verify.

Third-party verifiers agree to utilize verification data solely for establishing document authenticity and will not attempt to scrape, reverse-engineer, or bulk-query verification endpoints.

Section 5

Acceptable Use Policy & Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to use the DocuVerified platform, directly or indirectly, to:

  • Generate fraudulent, deceptive, forged, or unauthorized business documents or official credentials.
  • Impersonate any company, government entity, diplomat, banking officer, or third party you do not lawfully represent.
  • Falsify employee compensation, designations, national identities, or employment tenure.
  • Attempt to compromise the cryptographic ledger, forge SHA-256 hashes, or manipulate verification server responses.
  • Transmit any malware, automated crawlers, scrapers, or denial-of-service scripts.

Violations of this section will result in immediate permanent account termination, cryptographic revocation of all issued records, and reporting to relevant statutory law enforcement bodies.

Section 6

Subscriptions, Billing, Renewals & Refunds

  • Free Starter Tier: Includes 10 free verified documents each calendar month with standard QR verification and SHA-256 fingerprinting.
  • Paid Subscriptions: Billed in advance on a recurring monthly or annual basis (with a 20% discount on annual plans). Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled prior to the renewal date.
  • Payment Processing: Handled securely by our PCI-DSS Level 1 compliant payment gateway (Stripe). DocuVerified never stores your full payment card details.
  • Cancellation & Refunds: You may cancel your subscription at any time via your billing dashboard. We offer a no-questions-asked 14-day money-back guarantee for first-time paid subscribers.
Section 7

Intellectual Property & Data Ownership

Your Content & Corporate Records: You retain 100% full legal ownership of all corporate names, logos, employee details, compensation data, and customized document text uploaded to or issued through the platform. DocuVerified claims zero proprietary interest in your corporate data.

DocuVerified Intellectual Property: DocuVerified and its licensors retain all rights, title, and interest in and to the DocuVerified platform, design systems, algorithms, source code, APIs, documentation, and cryptographic verification mechanisms.

Section 8

Service Level Commitments (SLA)

We understand that third parties (such as banks and immigration consulates) require immediate document validation. DocuVerified commits to:

  • 99.99% Uptime Commitment for public QR code verification and token resolution APIs on Enterprise plans.
  • Global multi-region redundancy with automatic failover across Tier-4 data centers.
  • Scheduled maintenance windows conducted during non-peak international business hours with at least 48 hours advance notice.
Section 9

Warranty Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

DocuVerified provides a software platform for verifiable recordkeeping. We are not a law firm, human resources consultancy, or financial advisory. The templates and statutory language suggestions provided on our platform are for informational and operational convenience and do not constitute formal legal counsel.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, DocuVerified shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages resulting from lost profits, business interruption, or unauthorized third-party access to your documents.
